Nov. 13 1:14 PM PT2:14 PM MT3:14 PM CT4:14 PM ET9:14 PM GMT5:14 AM 北京时间-The NFL said Harris had been fined $7,500 for punching Cardinals offensive lineman Deuce Lutui on the fourth play from scrimmage in last Sunday's 41-21 loss.
Analysis: Harris was ejected and later apologized. He did not draw a suspension and that helps the beleaguered Bears defense.
Nov. 11 8:01 AM PT9:01 AM MT10:01 AM CT11:01 AM ET4:01 PM GMT12:01 AM 北京时间-Harris apologized Monday for throwing a punch at Arizona Cardinals offensive lineman Deuce Lutui.
Analysis: Harris was ejected on the fourth play from scrimmage of Sunday's game after he and Lutui wound up on the ground on a run play. Harris apologized to teammates, Bears fans and to Lutui. The three-time Pro Bowl player could be suspended by the league.
Nov. 8 9:20 AM PT10:20 AM MT11:20 AM CT12:20 PM ET5:20 PM GMT1:20 AM 北京时间-Harris was ejected from Sunday's game against Arizona after just 65 seconds of play for slugging Cardinals offensive tackle Deuce Lutui.
Analysis: At the end of an Arizona running play, Harris and Lutui ended up on the ground and a replay showed Harris hitting Lutui near the face. The Bears got a 15-yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty and Harris got a quick shower after referee Ed Hochuli announced he had slugged Lutui and was ejected.
Oct. 25 11:12 AM PT12:12 PM MT1:12 PM CT2:12 PM ET7:12 PM GMT3:12 AM 北京时间-Harris knows expectations are high for his return to the starting lineup Sunday at Soldier Field against Cleveland.
Analysis: Harris sat out last Sunday's 45-10 loss to Cincinnati after missing an entire week of practice. At first, coach Lovie Smith tied the benching to a sore left knee, but afterward said he wanted to see Harris practice before playing. Harris received a $40 million contract extension after the 2007 season. He says he knows expectations are high, and that's what he gets paid for.
Jul. 10 1:37 PM PT2:37 PM MT3:37 PM CT4:37 PM ET9:37 PM GMT5:37 AM 北京时间-Harris said Wednesday he would be back at practice soon. Harris hadn't been on the practice field at all during OTAs, but made an appearance during the individual skills portion of practice. He missed two games last year due to a knee injury and has been plagued by hamstring and knee problems much of the last three seasons.
Analysis: Harris, who has 24 1/2 career sacks, drew double teams during the 2006 Super Bowl season, enabling other linemen to stage a stronger pass rush. The Bears' pass rush has suffered with Harris hurt. "I'm on cruise right now," Harris said. "I'm taking time, I'm taking advantage of the offseason and I'm getting ready for training camp. And hopefully I'll get to help the guys when the season comes."
